The mission of Highland Music Boosters Association (HMBA) is to provide physical and financial backing to students within all divisions of Highland Regional High School’s music department. It is the desire of HMBA to give each child, who wishes to pursue music, the ability to learn and expand their knowledge of this art. This is accomplished through the support of parent volunteers who provide physical assistance in the form of transportation to and from practice and events, staffing of fundraising events, building of props, and help with moving equipment for performances.
HMBA endeavors to seek financial support of our music students through community backing of fundraisers and donations. Money received by HMBA is used to supplements each of the music department’s sub-programs as required, and when the school budget cannot or will not cover necessary program costs. By providing monetary support, HMBA garners the ability to offer each student, regardless of income level, the same opportunity and access to each these programs.
Through parental support Highland Music Boosters Association will continue to serve as a non-profit support system for the Highland Regional High School Music Department and its various programs.
