Highland Ranch Elementary is a pre-school through fifth grade school located in Carmel Mountain Ranch, San Diego. Highland Ranch is has approximately 800 students including a Special Education pre-school and two autistic Special Day classes. Our mission is to be a school that motivates students, has enthusiastic teachers, and engages parents who come together to prepare our students for the future. It is our priority to provide an academically challenging and emotionally nurturing environment for all our students. Our PTA is actively involved in supporting our school and our programs. We work together with staff to determine what our primary needs are and to develop plans to support those needs both financially and by volunteer efforts.
Studies show that children are more successful - academically and socially - when their parents take an active role in their experience at school. This is why the Highland Ranch PTA seeks to create an environment for parents to be present with their children by hosting programs and activities to bridge the gap between home and school and inspire positive memory building for all of our students and families. Families + School = Student Success!
