Hillside SPCA is a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter for Schuylkill County, Pa. On average, we have about 300 animals at any given time. These animals are usually a mix of dogs, cats and small critters such as rabbits and guinea pigs. Our animals come to us as owner surrenders, strays or cruelties. Our shelter is the only one in our county that has active Humane Officers. Our animals are not time stamped. We believe that every animal deserves a chance at finding their forever home. Some just take a little longer than others.
