The Historical Society of Upper St. Clair (HSUSC) exists to operate, restore and preserve The Gilfillan Farm, a mid-late 1800s working farm designated as a National Historical Place by the United States Department of the Interior, for general public educational, historical and cultural purposes and collect, catalogue, preserve, scan and make available to the general public historical photographs and documents related to the historical development of the Upper St. Clair area and events, as well as the individuals and families involved that history. The beneficiaries of its efforts are both school children and the general public.
The vision is to maintain Gilfillan Farm as an example of late 1800’s farm life in Western Pennsylvania as well as a historical, cultural and educational center and landmark for the community.
