We are counting the days until our Spring Gala at the W Hoboken.

We’re excited to expand the event this year to accommodate more of our supporters and community members. Tickets for this annual event sell out quickly every year, and we expect the same this year with 500 attendees.

The Hoboken Public Education Foundation (HPEF) is a parent volunteer-run non-profit raising private
funds to support critical initiatives that go beyond what school budgets can cover. Support from
businesses and community members allow us to elevate and enhance the Hoboken public education
experience.
As part of our annual Gala fundraising efforts, we host a silent and live auction. The silent auction
reaches an audience far beyond Gala attendees as online bidding is open to the public near and far.
Participating in the silent auction is a great opportunity to highlight and promote your local business,
while also supporting an important local cause.
I’m reaching out to respectfully request an auction item donation. By securing such donations, we are
able to fund important initiatives for 3000+ district students across all of Hoboken’s Public Schools,
grades K-12 at: Brandt, Connors and Wallace Elementary Schools, Hoboken Middle School and Hoboken
High School. We have funded over 50 initiatives and raised over $1.5 million since inception in 2015
with support from businesses such as yours.
This year, HPEF is focusing our efforts on funding the following initiatives:
● K-12 Educational field trips (serves 2,200 students with coordinated trips by grade)
● Orton GIllingham training for all teachers in grades K-2
● “Family Nights” educational sessions
● High School college tours, SAT Test Prep, and Debate Program Expansion
● Urban Garden Programming
● Middle School Theatre Programming
● Professional Development and Diversity Training for staff.
