Hocking Valley Community Hospital Foundation is a 501C3 nonprofit organization, and is the philanthropic arm for HVCH. It is estimated annually that we provide over $6 million of uncompensated services to patients who desperately need our services.
Philanthropy has always played a crucial role in the success of HVCH. From building expansions to significant medical advancements, we could not provide the outstanding services that we perform without the support of our very generous donors.
Hocking Valley Community Hospital is a non-profit, critical access hospital with an emergency department, urgent care, and a wide variety of clinical, specialty, and outpatient services. HVCH is one of the county’s largest employers with a staff of 350.
On an annual basis, HVCH:
- Treats more than 100,000 patients
- Provides care to 30,000 patients in the Emergency Department and Urgent Care
- Completes over 30,000 diagnostic radiological procedures
- Completes over 2,000 mammograms with our state-of-the-art digital mammography machine
- Completes over 150,000 lab tests and over 7,000 non-invasive cardiac procedures
- Provides approximately 56,000 physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy treatments
- Performs nearly 250 sleep tests and close to 80,000 respiratory therapy procedures
- Dispenses more than 360,000 pharmacological doses
