I would like to take this opportunity to introduce Home at Last Rescue.
Home at Last Rescue (HALR) is a Registered Canadian Charity, that is 100% volunteer driven. Our goal is to rescue cats from substandard living conditions and give them the loving homes they deserve. As a charitable organization that receives NO government funding, HALR relies solely on adoption fees, donations, and our own fundraising efforts to support our initiatives.
Requests to rescue cats come in through calls and emails at an average of ten per day. The tremendous task of rescuing so many felines comes with a cost - significant veterinary bills. In 2022 we took on more medical cases than ever before. These are cats and kittens that were scheduled to be euthanized that we provided full vetting and care for, as we prepared them for their home at last.
