Home Base, a Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Program, is dedicated to healing the invisible wounds of war (PTSD, TBIs, and more) for Veterans of all eras, Service Members, Military Families and Families of the Fallen. We are also devoted to providing life-saving clinical care and support for the treatment of the invisible wounds of war. Since its inception, Home Base has provided care and support to more than 35,000 Veterans and family members and trained more than 85,000 clinicians, educators, first responders and community members – all at no cost.

I help organize the Adventure Series, which are events held a couple of times a month for Veterans and their families. In addition to providing a unique way of saying “Thank you for your service”, these free activities strengthen family bonds before and after military deployment. They also give Veterans and their families a chance to explore something new, meet other Veterans and Military Families, and learn more about the clinical services, education, and research offered by Home Base.
