Home for Healing (formerly the Family Home) offers support to parents of infants in neonatal intensive care, individuals and their caregivers undergoing cancer treatment, and caregivers of individuals who are in intensive care units by providing convenient and free lodging in a peaceful and restorative environment. We operate across from UAMS Hospital in Little Rock but serve any local hospital with patients in need of our services. When lodged in one of our 15 rooms, guests have access to kitchens with cooking utensils and snacks, laundry rooms stocked with detergent and toiletries, communal living rooms, and our beautiful Serenity Garden. We work with them to overcome whatever barriers to healing they may face, including food insecurity, unemployment, and the need for emotional support.
