Each year, approximatley 920,000 shelter animals are euthanized (390,000 dogs and 530,000 cats) per the ASPCA statistics. Our mission at Home Free Animal Rescue is to make pet adoption easier and more affordable, while also saving the pets who are most in need and not necessarily the ones that are eassily adoptable. We champion the block dogs and cats, plain brown wrappers, bully breeds, seniors, pregnant and others that would certainly be overlooked or euthanized.
We are a small foster based rescue in NJ, but we save approximaltely 200-300 annually from many states that have high kill shelters. We also serve the NJ/PY/PA Metropolitan area as well and when we can, we help those less fortunate with medical costs for thier own pets.
