Mission Statement: To provide Hope, Opportnuity and Support that empowers women and children to as they journey from homelessness to self-suffiency.
Home of the Sparrow offers 5 different housing programs that serve a hundreds of women and children each year. We help our clients move from transitional shelters into temporary and permanent housing. Not only does HOS provide housing and rental assistance, but we strive to provide invaluable resources that will allow these families to find succesful lives in the future. HOS provides casee management, childcare, job training, transportation and necessities.
In the fiscal year of 2022, Home of the Sparrow:
- Directly served over 360 women and children
- Helped over 1,600 individuals through phone referrals and commnuity linkage
Additionally,
- 98% of clients exiting transitional settings successfully enter permanent housing.
- 69% of women served have experienced domestic violence.
- HOS housed 217 individuals through our shelter or indiviualized housing units.
