The mission of Homefront America is to honor and hold dear those who willingly defend our freedoms, and to serve their families – especially the children – by providing quality, caring and meaningful programs that nurture and enrich their social, emotional, and physical well-being.
The organization is staffed 100% by volunteers and funded entirely by private individuals, businesses, organizations and proceeds from Heroes Nite Out. Since 2005, the organization has provided more than $ 2MM in program support to benefit military families: Easter baskets for the children and ham certificates for entire families, Thanksgiving food baskets with turkey certificates; toys for the children at Christmas, backpacks filled with school supplies specific for each child's grade level; Scholarships; Single Marines Outreach; iCare Kits for the troops; and other programs to help bolster troop and family morale.
