Hope Restored Mission exists to help homeless individuals and families find permanent housing. We are located in Plano, North Texas, but we serve anyone that walks in the door. We first give them food, water, medical attention and assess their situation. Our Case Managers take down information and with the help of many other agencies, like the V.A., Social Services, Senior Services, Domestic Abuse facilities,we formulate a plan that best fits the need of that particular person in that particular situation. Our goal is for this family to receive permanent housing but temporary and emergency shelter are also options.
We start with the very basics. Do you have any form of identification? The answer is often "No." We proceed to fill out applications or call whoever we need to get this started. We help them get a job or get job skills. We even have clothing and shoes for them to wear to interviews or to start a job. When necessary we provide transportation. We walk with this person all the way to the end and even then we follow up for at least six months to a year after they are permanently housed.
We are the real deal, we do it with low budget and highly motivated volunteers. We make a difference. In the last 12 months we have served 1,800 individuals and families. Thank you for any consideration you can give our request.
