The Horry County Literacy Council's 14th Annual Murder Mystery Dinner/Silent Auction will be held on January 25, 2020 at the Dunes Club in Myrtle Beach. We are hoping you will be able to support us again this year with a donation for our Silent Auction portion of the evening. The Murder Mystery entitled "Death Ahoy!" will be performed again this year by the Carolina Forest High School Drama Club.
Our goals are to provide trained volunteers to work one-on-one with those reading below a fifth-grade level; to increase skills to acquire a GED, and to identify those needing support for english as a second language. We have also expanded to include a program for learning difficulties such as dyslexia for those age six and older. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and this is our largest fundraiser of the year. I have attached information for you, but if you need anything further please let me know.
