Horses of Hope Oregon was founded in 1988. Our history makes us the longest continuously operating equine assisted services program in the state of Oregon. We provide equine-assisted services in a safe, friendly, accessible, and supportive environment, to a diverse population of individuals with a variety of physical, cognitive, emotional and behavioral needs, these include but are not limited to cerebral palsy, down syndrome, PTSD, autism and ADHD. Our equine assisted services include Therapeutic Horsemanship, equine assisted learning, Horses for Heroes - our Veterans outreach program and other community partnership programs. Horses of Hope Oregon's mission is to promote Health, Happiness, and Healing through Horses.
