Howard County Family Child Care Association Inc is a non-profit professional network for Family Child Care Providers promoting quality, registered family child care for the benefit of children and families in Howard County and the State of Maryland by offering education, support and outreach to providers, families and our local community partners.
In pursuit of this mission, the Association will place emphasis on the following area:
- Promote a positive public image of Family Child Care as a profession.
- Provide for an exchange of information through lectures, meetings, panel discussions and other forums among Family Child Care providers, parents and others involved in the early childhood profession.
- Benefit from group strength in the investigation of legislative, business and legal matters.
- Forml support groups for various and specific interests.
- Inform and educate the general public, county, state and federal legislators on relevant family childcare issues.
- Provide support to current and potential Family Child Care providers.
- Form a network of communication, support, referral and back-up child care listing.
