Hoyne Street Playgroup has been around for over 40 years. The co-op almost shuttered due to the pandemic, but we have reopened and are working hard to rebuild our community and program infrastructure so we can sustainably continue working with Chicago families for many more years to come. Our mission to provide a safe, inclusive, play-based care space focusing on social emotional learning for children ages 2 - 5 carries on.
We focus on helping our young friends discover the world, develop awareness of others, and learn to communicate their needs, thoughts, and feelings. Our parent-led co-op is guided by our values of high quality care, parent leadership, and building an inclusive community.
