Huntington Area Recreational Trails Association was founded in April 2014 with the mission to promote the development of a network of local and regional multi-use trails and green-ways throughout the City of Huntington and broader Huntington area HARTA is also dedicated to bringing about the awareness of the Huntington County trail system and helping people become more healthy.
