The i5 Freedom Network Mission is: Equipping communities and survivors with the tools to disrupt the cycle of Human Trafficking through training, education and advocacy.
The i5 freedom network is an organization that takes a three pronged approach to ending Human Trafficking. Community awareness, survivor empowerment and hospitality training.
Community awareness holds a central role in the i5 Freedom Network. We offer complimentary presentations and training sessions for community organizations seeking impactful ways to contribute. Additionally, we provide assistance in developing training programs for peer advocacy and self-esteem building courses, specifically tailored for at-risk teenagers. Our "Empower Hour" educational training has proven to be effective, transforming a well-informed community into a powerful ally for prevention, support, and survivor recovery.
The i5 offers two distinct training programs tailored for both survivors and individuals affected by human trafficking. Our first course, Survivor Empowerment Leadership Training, focuses on developing leadership skills among survivors and those who have been impacted by human trafficking. The Way2Work Skills for Success program is designed to facilitate personal and professional growth among these individuals.
Additionally, our second course, "A Self-Designed Life," is a survivor-written and led initiative. This 14-week class equips survivors of human trafficking with the resources and tools necessary for building a new foundation beyond exploitation. The program empowers them to envision and create the life they desire to live.
Hospitality Training plays a crucial role within the i5 Freedom Network. The Hotel Readiness Assessment (HRA) has been developed to provide targeted assistance to individual properties, addressing the intricate and constantly evolving challenge of Human Trafficking within the industry. Our emphasis is on equipping management and associates with anti-trafficking tools that not only elevate guest satisfaction scores but also foster improved associate engagement. This proactive approach aims to enhance the overall guest experience while serving as a resourceful portal for inquiries along the journey.
