The Illinois CancerCare Foundation is committed to funding Research, Education and Awareness of a disease which affects 1 in 3 people. As we fight to find cures through nationally recognized research initiatives, it is our strong belief that our patients must have available to them every possible weapon in their battle.
The physicians and staff at Illinois CancerCare are relentless in working towards finding better treatments, therapies and ultimately cures for many forms of cancer. The clinical research trial participation currently conducted through Illinois CancerCare ranks top 10 in the nation. We strive to increase patient participation in these clinical cancer trials. In addition to supporting research, the Foundation funds education and awareness programs and patient support and assistance programs.
The Illinois CancerCare Foundation is a charitable organization like no other in our community. While one hundred percent of the funds granted are used in our region to support cancer research, education, and patient support, the impact of our services resounds globally. Our foundation, in collaboration with Illinois CancerCare, helps bring the latest nationally renowned clinical cancer research trials right here to our community – giving cancer patients and their families greater access to advanced treatment options and greater HOPE close to home!
Generous gifts to the Foundation make it possible to keep hope alive for central Illinois families coping with a cancer diagnosis through funding of the following patient initiatives: New Research Treatment Trials, Education, Patient Care and Patient Support.
We currently have over 18,000 patients that are all screen for clinical reserach opportunities and foundation support.
