Illinois -Wisconsin Search and Rescue Dogs is a 501c all-volunteer search organization that has helped police and fire departments find lost and missing people for the past 38 years with more than 950 call outs. We are a search and rescue unit made up of highly trained volunteer dog handlers and support personnel.We utiliize scent-specific tracking/trailing dog teams and human remains detection dogs (on land and water). In addition to our unit certifications, our dogs are also certified annually by nationallly recognized law enforcement associations, such as North American Police Working Dog Association (NAPWADA) and Law Enforcement Specialist (LETS).We never charge for our services.
