The mission of Imago Dei Middle School is breaking the cycles of poverty through education. We provide a private school education completely tuition-free and exclusively for children from low-income, under-resourced families. In 2022-2023, our student body identifies as 100% minority. We specialize in taking students who have fallen several grade level behind and bringing them up to grade level. We accomplish this with small class sizes (10:1 student-teacher ratio), longer days - 9 to 10 hours! - and an 11 month school year. We also provide ongoing support to our graduates and families through our Graduate Support and Family Services departments. Our 8th grade graduates subsequently attend some of Tucson's top private and public high schools and 96% graduate high school on-time (our county's average is only 71%).
