Independence Health & Therapy is a nonprofit dedicated to promoting independence and improving lives through care, education, and advocacy. We provide physical, occupational, and speech therapies as well as an adult day program, memory care program and behavioral health services within the McHenry County area.  Our adult day and memory care programs are designed as a safe space for older adults with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or that are simply home alone to go to during the day.  Most have caregivers that may work or need a respite to accomplish daily activities which may be difficult  while caring for their loved one.  This program provides door to door transportation as well as a light breakfast and lunch.  We strongly value caring for the whole person and the families of our clients.
