We are a small PTA with Indian Creek Elementary school in Carrollton, TX. We were established in 1985, and are one of the oldest and most diverse elementary schools in the area. That gives us a rich culture and history which is one of the best things about our school, but it’s age also means our campus is severely outdated and in need of some upgrades that the newer schools come standard with, which the budget just doesn’t allow for. 33% of our student population is from economically disadvantaged households, qualifying for free and reduced lunches, but often go hungry at snack time. Out PTA works tirelessly to raise funds to provide campus support, pay for educational materials, campus beautification, and student programs and enrichment.
