Inspire Life Skills Training, Inc. provides housing assistance, life skills training, education and employment support for youth aging-out of the foster care system. Participants in the program live independently, participate in individual and group life skills instruction, and receive counseling, healthcare access and mentoring. All programs are designed to assist the youth in achieving their education and employment goals so they can become self-sufficient.

We currently have three programs, our housing program, the mentoring program and our inspire scholars program. Our housing program matches former foster youth with one of our five houses in Corona and RIverside. Each foster youth must follow the house rules and are required to be working and studying. The mentoring program pairs our youth with an adult who guides their transition into adulthood. Each mentor and mentee meet face to face once a month and call weekly to encourage the youth to reach their goals and maintain accountability. The Inspired Scholars program offers monthly stipends in the amount of $500 per month and professional life coaching for any youth attending college, that spent a significant amount of time in foster care.
