We serve adolescents and young adults with neurodiversity, primarily those on the autism spectrum. We do that through an array of services: Our full-time day program provides skills training on nearly all aspects of adult life. Training is provided in a group setting, using individualized treatment goals which are prioritized to prepare each participant to be as independent as possible. Our facility is specifically designed to address the skills mentioned above, including a mock bedroom, laundry room, stocking pantry, rec/leisure area, physical fitness equipment, and vocational training stations.

All of these skills are taught in a combination of 1:1 and group environments. In addition to our facility, Inspire Skills utilizes various community locations to teach skills. Participants work at local businesses, practice shopping in grocery stores, learn safety skills at nearby shopping centers, dine at restaurants, attend sporting events, and participate in offsite classes, such as cooking, golfing and physical fitness. We also offer weekly teen and adult classes, which address the skills it takes to live as independently as possible. New friendships are often developed during this class with their fellow peers. Topics include social skills, transportation, budgeting, cooking, independent living skills, and finding and maintaining a job. We also offer outreach services that include community trainings, first responder trainings, neurodiverse friendly events, and our social enterprise, The Inspire Store.
