Interfaith Food mission is to advance the production of and access to healthy food produced in a sustainable, socially just manner by empowering faith communities with models and resources to impact local food systems and advance public policy. The Collaborative promotes direct marketing relationships in the form of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) and farm stands at faith-based sites as a way to encourage groups to live out their faith values by supporting family farms, advocating for sustainable food systems, and increasing access to local, healthy food. The Collaborative provides training, technical assistance, and networking opportunities to share best practices. This ensures that farmers and faith-based groups do not have to reinvent the wheel when establishing or building on a food-related project.
