About Iron Girl Project
The Iron Girl Project, Inc. (IGP) was founded by my family and I, to honor our daughter Alexea “Lex” Karpinski, a varsity athlete and Honor Roll student in her junior year at Hunterdon Central Regional High School, New Jersey who passed away suddenly in November of 2020. IGP supports high school student athletes in their journey to create their own legacy, one which has a positive impact on their teammates, families and communities.
In 2022, IGP’s inaugural year, we far exceeded our expectations! We hosted three successful events and with the help of generous sponsors and participants, we raised more than $25,000 for our Alexea G. Karpinski Memorial Scholarship fund.
