At Island Haven Animal Sanctuary, it is our mission to provide lifetime care for equines and farm animals who, while still able to lead a quality life, are unable to find homes due to old age, chronic illness, handicaps or other factors, or who have been rescued from neglect and/or abusive situations.
Our farm is located in beautiful San Juan Valley, surrounded by 30 acres of rolling pastures for our animals to roam and live happily together. They are taken care of by volunteers who are invited to take a step back from their busy lives and enjoy the peace that the farm brings.
