Ivanhoe Neighborhood Council's mission is to create a clean, safe, and thriving community. Through our recreational and educational programming, we cultivate social cohesion and a sense of belonging -- reducing the likelihood for residents (particularly youth) from engaging in violence or feeling a sense of disconnection and discontent with their community environment. Additionally, Ivanhoe Neighborhood Council is a CDC -- prioritizing the development of affordable housing and access to minor home repair services for seniors and others without financial means to address repair needs in their homes.
