The J.O. Wilson PTA consists of parents, guardians, teachers, and staff working together to foster a supportive community that affords our children exciting and positive new opportunities. The PTA promotes student development, academic enrichment and relationship building through after-school programming and other community-based activities. J.O. Wilson serves a diverse student body with a range of academic, social, and wellness needs. We are a Title I D.C. Public School - the majority of our students come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and almost half are considered at risk for academic failure due to factors such as homelessness or poverty.
