The James P. Lang Scholarship Foundation raises funds to finance scholarships for deserving college students from single parent homes. Jim was raised in Chicago’s western suburbs and attended Benet Academy and Glenbard South High Schools. In 1999, he passed away while undergoing back surgery. Jim was the one who would always help anyone in need. The funds donated to the family were used to establish the Foundation, which became known as “The Clubber Fund.” The annual golf outing, held in his memory, augments these funds. Providing scholarships for students who need help with rising college costs is the mission of the foundation. Over 110 students have received assistance through our foundation to date. Many of these students have already received their undergraduate degrees. This event is the annual golf outing/sole fundraiser for the event.
