The James V. Brown Library is the place to go to learn, connect and grow.
The James V. Brown Library is the public library serving the 84,000 citizens of Williamsport, Loyalsock Township, and South Williamsport. The Library offers its card holders the ability to borrow books, DVDs, and music; to use the Library's public access computers and wi-fi; and to borrow electronic resources such as books, audiobooks, magazines, and streaming video. The Library offers educational and enriching programs for people from birth onward, and encourages students to read and learn when school isnot in session with its popular Summer Learning programs. Outreach programs include the Storymobile and the Bookmobile, which serve people who cannot get to us.
