The Jefferson Parent Teacher Community supports the students, staff, and families of the school through fundraising and events. Our single largest financial support each year covers the expense of field trips for each grade so that all students have equal access to these exciting educational opportunities. We also sponsor dances and social functions that build student community; we reimburse classroom supplies for teachers; and we fund and operate the School Store which allows students to spend their gold coin rewards for good citizenship on supplies or toys. In order to achieve these goals each year, we raise funds through academic challenges like the Read-A-Thon, athletic challenges like the spring Race for Education, and more traditional fundraisers such as raffles and Spirit Wear sales.
