The Jefferson Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a collaborative group of parents and teachers who strive to support and enrich the school experience for Jefferson School students from grades 1-5. Our PTO supports a myriad of programs that directly benefit our students and staff. Through a combination of leadership, volunteering man-power and financing, the PTO makes the following possible:
Fall Festival • Field Trips • Cultural Assemblies • Family Dance Party • Jefferson Actors’ Guild (JAG) • Sensory Garden • Family Movie Night • Jefferson Alumni Scholarship • Little Free Library • Author Visits • Indoor and Outdoor Recess Games • Spelling Bee • Grandparent’s Reading Day • Talent Show
We also fund improvements on the campus including Bio-Chemistry Kits in the STEAM lab • Filtered water fountains refill stations throughout the school • Picnic style tables on the blacktop • Benches near the entrance of the school • Blacktop paintings for four square, basketball lines, number grid, and the large United States map and more!
