I am writing on behalf of the Jekyll Island Pickleball Foundation, Inc. (JIPF), a 501c3 organization (87-1592244). The mission of JIPF is to promote the development and growth of pickleball on Jekyll Island, GA.   Pickleball is the fastest growing racquet sport in the US and is accessible to persons of all ages and abilities.  And yet, Jekyll Island – a public state park open to all – does not have pickleball courts.

Our vision is that Jekyll Island will have at least 8 outdoor pickleball-only courts available to residents and visitors of all ages, levels, and abilities, in an inclusive environment that promotes health, social interaction, healthy competition, good sportsmanship, and fun.
