The mission of Jewish Family & Community Services is to strengthen the entire community by providing family and individual social services in the Jewish tradition of helping people help themselves.

For 104 years, JFCS has embraced the philosophy of prevention to help solve some of our community's most pressing issues: mental illness, abuse, hunger and homelessness – and our services are open to the ENTIRE community. Throughout the global pandemic of 2020, we remained open and true to our mission of helping people help themselves and served 134,000 meals to those struggling with food insecurity, caring for over 5,000 abused and high-risk children, assisting 3,000 community members with rent and utility bills and supporting 2,000 adults and families with counseling services.

Our Annual Event dollars help to fund our life-changing programs throughout the year. It ensures that JFCS can continue to provide the programs and services to our community, even if there is a crisis. And your support helps us to make it happen. We encourage and ask you to help JFCS continue to make a difference.
