Jewish Family Service is a client-centered, impact-driven organization working to build a stronger, healthier, more resilient San Diego.
Founded in 1918, we are one of San Diego’s most impactful non-profit human services agencies. Our broad network of staff, volunteers, supporters, and community partners are committed to the pursuit of one shared goal: helping individuals and families in San Diego Move Forward.
On the Go is a program of Charitable Adult Rides & Services (CARS), operated by JFS. When older adults make the tough decision to turn in their keys, our dedicated team of volunteers show up to drive them where they need to go – whether to the doctor, the grocery store, or lunch with friends. More than a ride, On the Go is about fueling the sense of connection, independence, and mobility that defines aging well.
