The JMU Physician Assistant Student Society (PASS) is a student-run, non-profit organization that is committed to civic and community engagement through service-oriented volunteerism. The society also facilitates the promotion of the PA profession, healthcare accessibility, diversity and inclusion, education and health equity initiatives and programming.
The organization emphasizes programs and events that have the greatest impact on the local community and its underserved residents. Programming and events include but are not limited to – hosting blood donation drives, free blood pressure screenings, free medical clinic engagement, participation in local elementary education, professional development workshops, food donation drives, as well as mental-health and wellness events.
