Our school, John Calvin Christian School, hosts an annual bazaar to raise funds for special projects to improve the school. At our bazaar, several tables are set up consisting of donations provided by local businesses and members of our society. We sell baked goods, crafts, books, Home Decor, and a variety of other items, including a room full of children’s toys and candy. We also have a Silent Auction room where you are able to anonymously bid on several larger donated items. We have a charitable donation number allowing all monetary donations over $20 to receive a tax receipt or if you prefer to donate an item for one of our rooms or auction, your business name will be printed on our donor sheets and displayed in the dining area. This year, our intentions are to raise funds for an accessible playground that is planned for our property. This playground will make it so that all students at our school will be able to play together, regardless of physical ability. The bazaar is well attended by the students, their families and the neighbouring community
