John Muir Elementary School in Martinez, CA provides an environment that strengthens educational knowledge while enhancing the character and lives of our school children. Through fundraising efforts, the JME Parent Teacher Association (JME PTA) sponsors many school events and after-school enrichment programs that contribute to these concepts.
The Annual JME Auction Dinner brings approximately 200 parents and supporters together and raises thousands of dollars every year for school programming. The JME PTA will use funds from the auction for enrichment programs, activities, and school supplies such as: The Community Science Workshop, educational- based field trips and school bus transportation, the Timberwolf Reading Program, cultural diversity and equity inclusion programing, teacher “wish-list” funding, JME Music and Physical Educa4on equipment and materials, STEAM night, Community Kindness Night, and many other student-centered events.
