The John Muir Elementary School PTA supports the John Muir Elementary School in Berkeley, CA.
We may be the smallest school in the Berkeley school district, but we are a strong community that pulls together every year to support essential programming such as language specialists, the library program, classes such as gardening, PE, and dance, as well as teacher grants. We also value equity and work hard to ensure all students are able to fully participate in the activities the school offers, whether it’s school supplies, a Halloween costume, or the cost of a field trip. On average, the PTA fundraises and spends approximately $700 per student to ensure each kid is able to fully participate and thrive.
