Jones Academy is a dual language immersion and fine arts elementary school in Arlington ISD’s acclaimed Specialized Program. Launched in 2015, our first class of graduates are now in their second year at Gunn Junior High & Fine Arts and Dual Language Academy. Our teachers, staff, students and families have formed a vibrant community dedicated to helping our students reach their full potential.
Through our fundraising, the PTA hopes to donate a big ticket item to the school. As a result of funds raised at last year’s funds, our PTA purchased a book vending machine with hundreds of English and Spanish language books, supplying each child in our school with at least one free book this school year. Our PTA hosts enriching events for students and their families, we’ve renovated and fully stocked the Teacher Lounge, and serve teacher parties and meals throughout the school year—all thanks to donations from community members.
Our Jones Academy PTA allocates donated funds toward PTA projects that support students, teachers and our school. All proceeds from the Fundraising and donations go toward these efforts. Your contributions can make a difference in the lives of our Jones family.
