We are a non-profit volunteer organization that is dedicated to making boating safer on our local waterways for all boater. We provide various community services that enhance the boating experience and make this recreational activity safer. We provide educational courses taught by certified instructors, complimentary vessels safety checks and a cooperative charting program conducted with NOAA and the U. S. Coast Guard.
These programs ensure that boaters have appropriate safety equipment on board and that locla area navigational charts are kept up to date, making our waterways and the vessils using them safer. We are part of the United States Power Squadron.
