The Jose Antonio Vargas PTA is a non-profit organization that serves the Jose Antonio Vargas Elementary School community by providing student enrichment programs, building local engagement, and giving as-needed classroom/teacher support. More specifically, the PTA provides teacher grants for classroom supplies, after-school enrichment programs for students, field trips, student assemblies, and community building events, such as movie nights and ice cream socials. We serve a student population of 350 students, a large percentage who are low-income and without stable housing.
