*The foundation was formed to honor the memory of Joshua Harr Shane, who was taken from us at the age of 18. Our goal was and is to help children in need and other causes in need of support.

*We have partnered with Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Hamilton, NJ, and have endowed two rehabilitation rooms, a PET/CT suite, and Patient Evaluation Suites in the hospital's Cancer Center

*We provide aid to families in need, with a special focus on seriously ill and special needs individuals and their families, throughout the United States. We assist with rent, mortgage payments, utilities, medical procedures, and equipment, as well as related travel expenses for needed treatment.

*We support our armed forces, both domestically and abroad. With the cooperation of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, we continue to send packages to troops serving overseas containing food, personal products, and other needed items. Locally, we have given tickets to troops and their families to area events.

*We provide scholarships to students who have demonstrated a willingness to help others.

*We provide assistance to several organizations aiding persons recovering from disasters in Florida, Texas, and Puerto Rico.

*We provide support to the P.A.S.S. Program (Promoting and Achieving Self-Sufficiency.) The program is geared towards special needs children and the schools they attend to create an atmosphere to be proud of themselves and the school they attend.

*We provide in-school assemblies to several schools, to introduce students to the environment around them outside school, helping the students to be proud of who they are and deal with others. We have also taken to local events, such as the circus, baseball games sculpture gardens, and other local activities. These activities help promote peer relationships, expose students to different environments, and help promote a positive self-image and community awareness.
