Joshua's Hands is a nonprofit established in memory of my son, Joshua, who died in a car accident at the age of 16. He was a huge community servant. We continue his legacy of service and education through free events and activities. The two main projects the community knows us for are the Valiant Warrior Quilting - which brings together volunteers to make quilts for American's who serve and sacrifice on our behalf. To date, we have made and gifted 2500+ quilts (Afghanistan, Kuwait, Qatar, Germany and domestically). The second is our annual Fall Festival. We have not been able to host this event since 2019 due to COVID. This event is completely free, including lunch. It is open to the community and provides community interaction, games and agricultural education. Offering the Fall Festival as a free event is costly for the organization. All community donations are greatly appreciated to make the event possible.
