Journey Through 18 exists to provide girls access to the game of golf. We do this by providing opportunities for girls to learn the game and use the skills learned from it to help them grow and develop into successful young women.
Our goal is to grow the game of golf by creating new golfers focusing on girls and women.
Journey Through 18 provides year-round golf instructional programming, mentoring opportunities, and social activities to girls in the Houston area. We provide girls-only golf programming. We also offer mentoring opportunities to the older girls and conduct activities to enhance their leadership, communication, and networking skills.
Our golf program is the USGA/LPGA Girls Golf. We meet twice a month with girls to provide golf instruction and experience playing on the golf course. As a girl’s game develops, our focus shifts to tournament preparation.
Journey Through 18 is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization created to inspire and empower the next generation of girls. Our objective is to provide access to the game and encouragement and help build confidence and self-pride. We use golf, a great tool that helps create and strengthen core skills that girls can use in every aspect of a girl’s life.
