In 1971, Lois Judevine Blackwell established the Judevine Center as a non-profit agency to provide
treatment and training to children with autism, and their families. This dispelled the notion that the only future
for people with autism was in an institutional setting. Judevine quickly developed a reputation among parents,
professionals, and other organizations as the premier provider of autism services. At Judevine, we offer a
variety of services from 24-hour Individualized Support Living, Parent Training, Behavioral Support, Behavioral
and Speech Language Therapy, Social Skills Groups, and Day Habilitation just to name a few. All of these
programs are possible because of the generosity of donors like you. Currently, Judevine has 6 hubs
servicing the state of Missouri including Jefferson County, St. Louis, Springfield, Joplin, Kirksville, and Hannibal
and providing services to over 340 consumers and their families.
