We here at the Mireles PTA strive to follow the Texas PTA's misson:

"To make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children."

By working with sponsors, companies, and members of the community, we are able to serve and enrich our school community in many different ways. This includes the establishment of the JAM PTA Scholarship, which benefits graduating seniors who attended Mireles Elementary. In the scholarship's inaugural year, we were able to award this scholarship to nineteen former Mireles students! Our organization also helps with other needs throughout the year such as providing supplies and equipment, funding end of year field trips, teacher meals, enrichment, continued education support for teachers and staff, supporting our sister school, and other community initiatives.
